Little Nomads at the Beach
Little Nomads at the Beach runs from some of the beautiful beaches in and around Vancouver. We choose our beach locations depending on the season and what the beach is going to offer our young learners.
The beach program gives our Little Nomads the chance to explore the BC coastline, learn about shoreline habitats, tidal ranges, tracking shoreline animal and bird movements, as well as some good old fashioned sand and water play! The beach provides a wealth of learning opportunities and becomes a fantastic teacher as well as a calming environment to learn and explore in. During our beach sessions we have lots of time to explore the environment, we come together for group time and snack, and take part in activities that have been carefully planned for each group of children and each beach we are learning from.
