OUR ETHOS

At Little Nomads, we value outdoor exploration, nature play, and experiential learning. We pride ourselves in putting our children and families first, building strong relationships and community links, and responding to the needs and interests of our young learners. Our teaching approach encompasses many of the Forest School approaches to learning, as well as being underpinned by the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Our educators are highly motivated, experienced and trained to develop and deliver a curriculum that suits the needs of each child. Little Nomads prides itself in offering flexible care for our learners and their families. Our programming allows you to pick the sessions that best fit your work and life schedule.

What We do

We know young children learn best when they are excited, engaged, exploring and investigating new environments. Our locations have been carefully selected to offer a wide range of opportunities for learning in each session. All of our sessions aim to instill a respect and understanding of nature, encouraging our learners to become responsible members of our community and natural world. We use the forests, beaches, parks and the city as our classroom and teacher, and develop an emerging curriculum as we closely observe the children in their learning. We think carefully as a team about what we offer the children next to extend and develop their skills and experiences, and spend time communicating the amazing learning that happens at Little Nomads with families.
